This is one of my favorite sketches.  Top ten, easily.  Contender for #1.

The Kids In The Hall are so good at sketches like this.  Instead of a heavy-handed premise, it’s funny because of bizarre (but not TOO bizarre) behavior.  Just overly-concerned culinary talk, plus the perfectly nonsensical side game about the main waiter being new.

I haven’t written sketches in a long time, but toward the end, I was trying to do more Kids In The Hall-y stuff.  I find sketches like this so much more satisfying than the kinds of sketches I see almost everywhere else.

 These guys were the best at taking the most mundane aspect of life and making it into something soo out there.

This was originally from print ad, but I forgot what it was advertising. Keebler perhaps?
